Voting Has Begun!

ALL REGISTERED VOTERS IN VIRGINIA MAY VOTE EARLY, EITHER IN PERSON OR BY MAIL.

Vote By Mail

Request a ballot at elections.virginia.gov/absentee by 5 p.m., June 7. You may return your ballot:

  • By mail: postmarked on or before June 18 and received by noon on Friday, June 21.
  • Before Election Day: to your voter registration office, drop- off location, or satellite location.
  • On Election Day (by 7 p.m.): to your voter registration office, any polling place, or drop-off location.

Vote Early In Person

From May 3 through June 15: You can vote early at your local voter registration office. A satellite voting location may also be available. Bring acceptable ID.

Vote on Election Day – Tuesday, June 18

The Democratic Primary for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District will be held on Tuesday, June 18. You can vote at your normal voting location. Not sure where to vote? You can lookup your polling place here: elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/polling-place-lookup/. Polls are open from 6AM to 7PM. Absentee ballots can also be returned on Election Day.
