As a civil rights and constitutional law attorney, Jake is the person we need to represent our community in Congress, and to fend off Trump and extreme Republicans’ attacks on our reproductive freedom, voting rights, and civil rights.

Denton and his family are life-long Virginia Beach residents. Denton volunteers legal services to victims of domestic violence, handles race and gender discrimination cases, and is an elected member of the Virginia State Bar Council. He previously worked for the Virginia Port Authority.

Denton knows we must flip this seat to win a Democratic majority in Congress so we end the extremism in Congress and protect our rights and freedoms.
